Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CLETA - Lab Mix / 5 Years / 16kg / F-Spayed
“She’s a darling angel. Everyone who meet’s here is obsessed with her sweet little face and calm energy.” That’s what Cleta’s foster parent had to say when we asked them about how this sweet pup has been settling in.
Cleta has proved herself to be the most loving dog ever. Her love language is most definitely physical touch, as she loves any sort of contact with her peeps, whether that is through snuggles or by scoring some pets using her oh so powerful puppy dog eyes.
Cleta has been working hard on her walking skills. Since she loves being close to her people, she’ll happily trot right beside you. She never pulls but does zigzag occasionally. This is easily correctable as she is very easy to redirect. Cleta is also a pro in the house. she is fully housetrained, and will sleep all night in her crate without disruption. She is great with her canine foster sibling, and leaves the cats in the house alone. Cleta has a calm and loving demeanor, but is working on not jumping up for snuggles and kisses.
Cleta’s ideal future home would have a secure yard for her to romp around in. She is good with other dogs, but people are her priority. She ignores cats, so feline friends in the house is fine for her. We suspect she’ll do fine with dog savvy kids. Cleta deserves a family who will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them, and will love her unconditionally.
If you think Cleta would make the perfect addition to your family, please check out www.dibsrescue.com for the adoption process and application. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
