Meet our very handsome and goofy guy named Merlin! Merlin came to us after he was found running around a busy street in town. No one came to claim this sweet boy, so he is now looking for his forever family to come adopt him! We think Merlin is between 3-4 years old. He is a playful boy who loves squeaky toys. Merlin is gentle when taking treats and he absolutely loves butt scratches! He looks to be a bit on the overweight side, so he could use a good diet and some regular exercise to get him back to a good weight. Merlin is a nice boy who was immediately friendly with all of us from the night he was picked up. He is good with other dogs and cats. Merlin can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. *We are requiring that his adopters have experience with Huskies or similar breeds.*

You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.

An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.

ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
