My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Poppy: Your Playful Pal and Loyal Companion!

Say hello to Poppy, a delightful one-year-old pup who is bursting with energy and love! Poppy's playful nature and loving spirit make her the perfect addition to any family looking for a fun and affectionate companion. She may appear larger in photos, but this girl is not as big as she may appear in pictures!

Poppy's joyful personality is truly infectious. She loves to play, run, and explore, making her an ideal buddy for outdoor adventures and playtime. Her sweet disposition and boundless enthusiasm will bring endless smiles to your face.

While Poppy is wonderful with people and other dogs, she does have one special requirement—she cannot live with cats. However, with her charming personality and loving heart, she will more than make up for it with her devotion and affection.

If you're looking for a playful, sweet, and perfectly sized pup to join your family, look no further than Poppy. She's waiting to meet her forever family and share her love!

Go meet their pets

We are open from 7-9am and 4-6pm, seven days a week. The Annex only houses dogs, but our volunteers do have cats in foster. Due to Covid restrictions, visitors to the shelter to meet the pets are by appointment only with a pre-approved application.

More about this shelter

Fulton County Regional SPCA is a volunteer-run, donation-funded, not-for-profit organization founded as Regional Animal Shelter in 2002. The doors of our Annex opened in May of 2012. We re-incorporated as an Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in 2019.

Our mission is to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community to help animals. We provide immediate shelter and care for any homeless or abused animals and either reunite these animals with their owners or find them new, loving homes. We will actively promote animal and owner education, training, and public awareness to improve the lives of the animals in our community and beyond.e.
