Aldi came into our family as a neglected stray in February 2024 and we have loved him every day since then. From the beginning, he has been the biggest gentle giant. His favorite things include raw hide bones and walks. Unfortunately, he has separation anxiety and needs to have someone that is home often, works remote, retired, or is able to drop him off at doggy daycare. We crate him currently but we work very long hours. He cannot be left un-crated in the house if everyone is leaving; however, he displays no signs of anxiety when people are home. He prefers when other dogs are in the home. Amazing with little children, other dogs and cats. He loves meeting new people and dogs on the street. He is house and crate-trained. He knows commands such as sit, down, place, and stay. He has no bite history, is neutered, and up to date on vaccines.
