Harris reportedly lived his entire life outside in a dog run. When his owner sold the home, he left Harris behind. The new owner did his best to care for him until he was able to place him with FOCCAS rescue. He was very frightened for awhile. He had only been in one environment and had not spent time with other dogs. It didn't take long to win his trust and friendship. Giving him a ball and playing with him was the secret. He loves his ball and turns into a funny puppy when playing with it. Harris is still quiet and a little shy (when not playing with his ball). He seems to get along fine with other dogs. He tries to play with the ones his size but seems frightened of bigger dogs. He was NOT good with the fosters cat! He has not been tested with children but he is very gentle natured. He is completely kennel trained and will not potty in his kennel. This usually translates easily to house-training. His foster thinks he would do best with an older couple or individual. He doesn't need an active lifestyle. What he needs is love. Lots of love! Harris has so much gratitude toward the volunteers and foster family. Everything about him will make your heart melt.LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. WE CAN TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE, Visit out website for a full list of adoptable pets… https://foccas-tn.org/
