Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Everest, Male, Husky/Australian Shepherd, 5 years old, 47 lbs.
Everest, aka Mr Cool, is an amazing dog! He is happy-go-lucky boy who is both calm and energetic.
When smarts were being handed out, Everest was at the front of the line. He knows more than just the basics and is quick to learn even more. He is also crate trained.
Everest is a rural boy who adores going for walks in the wild and is good on both a short and long lead. His recall is also good, but a fenced area will allow him to safely run around without worry if his Husky desire to run overrides his recall.
Everest is happiest at home where he is 100% confident and content. He has no separation anxiety and is happy to wait at home for his people’s return. That being said, Everest does travel well and doesn’t mind hanging out in the vehicle while short errands are being done.
This joyful boy absolutely loves his belly rubs and will give hugs and kisses when asked. As affectionate and gentle as Everest is with all the people he knows, he does best when new people just ignore him. Give him some time and anyone can be his new friend.
Either being an only dog, or having an easygoing female dog in his forever home would suit Everest beautifully. He gets on well with most dogs and does love to play. Everest needs a home with no cats or children because we don’t know for sure how he is with them.
Everest is looking for his new people to be like him, rural, active yet quiet, and happiest at home.
Everest has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Everest is $500.00.
We do not ship our dogs.
