Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A gasket is a tiny, hard to access piece in a car. Hey, that's me! My name is Gasket! Appropriate name right! I was rescued from the side of a road when I was just a few weeks old. I wasn't quite ready to end my wild adventure, so I hitched a ride inside the outside of the car. (I did not care for that car ride one little bit!) It took two teams of mechanics all day to pull off enough panels to get me out! But now I don't know why I was so reluctant. I love being held, playing, jumping on laps and shoulders, eating all the yummy food, climbing my cat tree, and the all the lazy comfort of an indoor life. I purr all the time and love to be with people. If you want to met me, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
