My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Peanut and I would love to be your new best pal! I am vision impaired, but I don't let it slow me down! My foster mom thinks I see motion but not stationary or dark objects. I'm super smart and know my way around the house, yard, and in and out of my kennel. I love to run and play, and I am fearless. I also love going on adventures and making human and dog friends.

I am a happy, confident girl who loves kids, people, and dogs. I am on the nippy side (I am a puppy AND a cattle dog mix, after all). I know my name. I am kennel trained, and I will tell you when I have to go potty so you can take me outside. I like to chase stuff that moves. Loud noises don't bother me.

I love dogs. I'm curious about cats and will want to chase them but just to play.

I love kids, but I can be nippy. I might do best in a house with older kids. Children 13 years and older may be best.

I love toys that I can tug, shake, and pull the stuffing out. I also love digging in my dog pit, chasing the flirt pole and playing sniffy games! I also like to explore the world on walks.

I am a super intelligent girl with lots of energy, so I need a home with a fenced yard where I can run and sniff. I also need humans that will help me continue learning my puppy manners. And if you have a dog that would like to run and play with me, that would be great!

My adoption fee includes a personalized training program.
