My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: March 2019

Meet Thunder: Special Needs: Kidney Issues

Oh-so-stylish in his Sleek Black Coat with his distinguish One White Whisker. Thunder is still finding his kitty-cat paws as he accustoms himself to being safe and sound in our care. Having learned to relax in his bed while the world goes on around him, he’ll now accept a pet or two when he’s not rolling around with a catnip toy or following his fellow felines with curious eyes.

Now for Orion to thrive, he hopes to go to a patient and loving home with one of his playmates or to one with a confident kitty already there.

Go meet their pets

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

More about this rescue

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.
