Approx 4.5 years old now, I adopted Hooch when he was approx 1 year old. He was a stray that was malnourished and had confidence issues. He is now much more confident, with the exception of being on hardwood floors. He now weighs approx 72 lbs and is neutered. He gets along well with other dogs and shows a curiosity in cats. Also seems to get along fine with children, he has been around my nieces who are younger than 7. He is a people pleaser but also requires a lot of attention and physical touch. I believe that he needs a larger space than what i currently have for him given he does not do well with hardwood floors (the only space in my apartment without hardwood is a limited area in the loft, which he isolates himself to unfortunately). His ideal home would have enough space for him with carpeted floors, and loving owners that can give him the level of attention that he needs
