My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fred is a sweet little guy. He takes a minute to warm up but will purr away when being held close and pet. He gets along great with all the other cats and loves his siblings George and Ginny. He doesn’t mind the dogs and will sit by them with no issues.
He’s fixed, vaccinated, felv/fiv tested and microchipped

More about this rescue

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
