Right here waiting! My name is Little Girl, and I'm a sweet young girl with a steel gray coat and expressive eyes. I am a loving little dog who likes to stay close to my person. I am looking for an adult home where I can be your one and only so I can be the center of your attention. I can be a little timid when meeting new people, but I warm with a soft approach and a gentle voice. It has been reported by my previous owner that I have excellent house manners and can be a real sweetheart. I would benefit from taking it slow and learning new things at a comfortable pace. So if you think we can be a match, come on down to the shelter so we can meet. I will be waiting!

Operating the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter, an open-admission facility and Alexandria’s only animal shelter, the League provides care for more than 3,500 animals every year, including strays, lost pets, local wildlife, rescue animals, and pets surrendered by their owners.
