Cupcake and Jam are bonded kitties who must be adopted together.
Cupcake and Jam are sisters who were rescued from a horrible hoarder situation in KCMO about 6 years ago. Through absolutely NO FAULT of Cupcake and Jam, the people who adopted them decided they couldn’t keep them anymore. The girls have taken it in stride and are now looking for their real forever home.
Cupcake and Jam are the sweetest kitties you will ever meet. They are super sweet companion kitties who, once settled in, will give much love, happiness and entertainment to their people. They might be a little shy in the beginning but once they get to know you and get the lay of the land, they will be following you around and giving you lots of kitty love. Both girls love to sit next to you and be stroked and brushed (they LOVE to be brushed!). They also love to hang out in front of the windows and see what the birds and squirrels are up to. The girls have been together forever so need to be adopted together. They make a great little pair. Even as adults they still act silly and chase each other around. They also have favorite toys they play with like kittens. They are good little eaters (canned and dry food) and neat litter box users.
These girls have been through a lot and it is time for them to find their loving FOREVER home with someone who will care for and love them for the duration of their lives.
The girls will do best in a mature quieter home. They would prefer to be the only kitties but will likely be ok with calm, cat-friendly dogs after appropriate introductions.
Cupcake was born approximately May 26, 2015, and Jam was born approximately November 3, 2016. Their combined adoption fee is $167.50. They are spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, have microchips, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.
You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend.
