**CURRENTLY BEING HOUSE AT OUR FOREPAWS LOCATION** Located at 453 Ridge Road in Minooka. Open for viewing/adoptions during their regular business hours. Must apply in person. Feel free to call Forepaws for details at 779-456-7899
Pinecone is a two year old Guinea Pig that was recently surrendered due to not having enough time to dedicate to him. Pinecone was not getting the care he needed as he had corkscrew toenails and raw paw pads from urine scalding. Pinecone is still in high spirits and wheeked with delight when we put him in his fresh cage. A mountain of timothy hay? Fresh vegetables? Soft blankets? What a life! Pinecone is spunky boy who enjoys being held but will also scurry about to seek out his curiosities. Guinea Pigs are great small critter pets but requires just as much care and attention as other pets. They require a special diet of fresh vegetables and timothy hay each day. Frequent cage cleanings and need adequate space to thrive. They also need attention and playtime as well. And again (our favorite saying) please do your research before committing to an animal. His adoption fee is $25, which does not come with a cage or supplies.
