Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maliki!
This handsome boy is just getting cozy for his afternoon nap! Maliki is such a sweet and loving boy. He's a bit shy at first, however it's hard to blame him it can get a bit noisy in here. Maliki has made loads of progress and is getting more and more social everyday! He realized he was missing out on a lot of awesome chin, ear, and back scratches. He won't be having any more of that. With just a little bit of time, patience, and a couple treats. Maliki is your best friend FOREVER! He's such a sweet and even tempered boy. He gets along great with even our bossy kitties, he's a great kitty!

More about this shelter
We are the only shelter in Cedar County, Iowa. We take in homeless dogs and cats and help them to find carefully screened, lifelong, and nurturing homes. FOA serves Cedar County, Iowa.
When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving dog or cat a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profits before animal welfare. Homeless, scared, abused, neglected or surrendered, whatever the circumstance may be, our goal is to give all animals the chance to feel loved, wanted and special. After all, their souls are pure, and they deserve only the best from us.
