Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Let us introduce you to Sonny, the three-year-old German Shepherd with charm and elegance to spare. This handsome boy is the perfect gentleman, calm, well-mannered, and always eager to please. Sonny walks beautifully on leash, making him an excellent companion for peaceful strolls. He is wonderful with both people and other dogs, and his gentle demeanor shines through in every interaction. Sonny`s is a loyal boy and adores being with his people. He may experience some separation anxiety based on notes from his last adopter, but with the right love, patience, and positive-based training, he will settle into his new home beautifully. If you are looking for a devoted, easygoing companion who will always make you feel loved, Sonny is your guy!

Additional adoption info
We encourage everyone interested in adopting a new pet to come visit the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter to view the wonderful selection of cats, dogs and small animals we have available for adoption. When you see an animal you are interested in, come in as soon as possible as we are first come, first serve and are unable to place HOLDS on pets over the phone.
Speak to an Adoption Counselor at our Adoption Center regarding your interest to adopt and they will advise you of the Hold and Adoption process. All pets adopted from our facility are microchipped, spayed or neutered and vaccinated for Rabies prior to being released to the adopter. This is required by Texas State Law for any animal adopted from an animal shelter or rescue group. We do allow out of area adoptions as long as the selected pet is old enough to receive these services prior to being released to the adopter.
