Samson loves attention and loves some good scritches! He was living outside for a while when his foster noticed his long hair was matted. She took him in to get him. Now, without the matted hair, he is so soft and grown back extra fluffy!

At our Cat Centers, he is a welcome wagon with all of the kittens, and loves to play Dad and groom them. Samson also loves a spa day - by being brushed and petted :)

He does appear to have some damage to one eye, but the vet assures that it doesn't really affect his vision and doesn't seem to be related to anything more serious.

Samson is super friendly and just looking for a family to give him the love he deserves!

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We are unable to do meet and greets without an appointment. But you can go online to see available cats as well as in-store.

2.
Submit Application

While the stores do stock paper applications, we recommend filling out our online form as this e-mails us right away.

3.
Interview

An adoption coordinator will reach out within 3 business days to you to discuss your application and answer any questions.

4.
Meet the Pet

Our adoption coordinater will schedule a meet & greet once the application is approved. We do not accept walk-ins except at events.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

If, at the meet and greet, you decide the cat is a match, you will be able to sign paperwork then and there to adopt the animal.

6.
Pay Fee

Our adoption fees are $175 per animal. We accept cash and credit card. There is a $8.31 processing fee for credit cards ($183.31)

7.
Take the Pet Home

That's it! You will need to leave PetSmart with the cat in a carrier per their policies but you can take them home and get them acclimated!

Additional adoption info

When you've signed the paperwork, we will send you home with a coupon booklet that includes many PetSmart coupons including $5 a hard carrier if you need to purchase one as well as a free bag of food to go home with.
