Have you ever had that one friend that never seems to age? Always seems to have the energy to do whatever, whenever, wherever? Well, our boy Travis is the canine version of that friend. While he may be considered middle aged on the dog scale, don’t tell him that as he certainly will not believe you. Travis LOVES to be active; he acts much younger than his chronological age. You want to go for a walk? Travis would love to go! You want to take numerous walks a day? Oh, he’ll love that even more. 

Travis loves to run and explore and learn new things. Among his favorites are the interactive ‘dog puzzles’ that help keep his mind working and sharp. He is always up for the challenge. But at the end of the day, Travis also knows how to relax and chill while snuggling on the couch. 

Travis’ only requirement is that he needs a slow introduction to new people. It’s really not a huge deal and is easily dealt with. He has a protocol that works for him, and it’s easy enough to follow. Once he’s sure visitors are ok, he will do his best to make friends by asking for pets and attention. 

Since Travis is such a bouncy, happy guy, he will require a fence (privacy fence is preferred). We love to watch Travis bounce as it’s super cute, but we need to keep him safe. Travis is hoping for an adult only home, as younger children make him a bit nervous.

We do not have any history of Travis with cats. He has lived with another dog successfully in the past, but a meet with any potential housemates to ensure compatibility is a must. A submissive dog of similar size might be ok.
