My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes:
Kassy is the perfect combo of chill + playful. She will happily lounge on her bed all day (although she would love to go to a home where she can cuddle on the couch) or go on an ice long walk and play. Whatever you're in the mood for, she is ready! She did great on hikes and stayed alongside us and loved to explore the water (fetching leaves and splashing around). She is great with other animals and children (she lives with a foster cat now, and she is great with my son)! She would make a great companion for a single person or a family. She is VERY affectionate and loyal. She loves belly rubs and will lay very still on her back to ask for rubs. She will check in on you while you're in the bathroom and grunt when there is a noise at the door. This sweet girl would love to find her forever home!

A volunteer writes: Kassy is a total sweetheart, easygoing and fun-loving! She has the playfulness of a puppy and the good manners of a calm, stable dog who just wants to be your best friend. Anyone who gives her kindness (and belly rubs!) would get an amazing companion in return.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I am finding the shelter a bit overwhelming. Outside one-on-one I am a great big cuddle bug.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.

I am playful and cute!

I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!
