My adoption fee has been sponsored by one of my supporters so adopters only have to pay the NYC dog license fee of $8.50!

On our walks, he was constantly turning around to make sure everyone was keeping up with him (while of course flashing that sweet grin on his face)! By the end of the borough break and after a long day of exercise, he fell asleep on the drive home like a perfect angel. He melted our hearts in one day and I know he will bring his next lucky human so much happiness.
On my Boroughbreak Zeusy Roll was such a great dog to hang out with, he did amazing sitting at the bar and very easily entertained with his ball and had multiple admirers.

A bit about me:Zeusy Roll was surrendered after being with the same family for 2 years - as a result of the landlord no longer allowing pets. It's hard to believe that in October it will have been a full year that Zeusy Roll has lived in the shelter. We think that says alot about Zeusy Roll's resiliance and ability to adjust to new environments. He has so much energy and love to give!
My ideal home:Based on Zeusy Roll's history in a home and how he is in the shelter we think he would do great in an active home that likes to play fetch and go on long walks. A home without other pets would be best as Zeusy Roll prefers to be king of the castle!
Good with kids?Due to Zuesy Roll's lack of basic manners and on leash reactivity, we recommend he goes to an adult-only home.
How are my leash manners?Zeusy Roll is noted to be fearful when held/restrained and when his collar is grabbed/touched. Positive reinforcement, reward based training should be used to pair touch with good things such as food rewards in order to teach Zeusy Roll to be more comfortable with this.
What is my behavior assessment?Zeusy Roll has been assessed as a Level 3 dog. Based on his behavior at the shelter, he would do best with an experienced adopter that understands how to help him with resource guarding and leash manners. He needs a gentle approach and some time to feel comfortable. It's important to let Zeusy Role warm up at hhis own pace and never force him to interact with new people. Our ACC counselors would be happy to provide resources and guidance for Zeusy Roll's adopter.
