My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There is an adorable video of me on ACC's Instagram! Click here to experience the cuteness!

All adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered when appropriate.

A volunteer writes: Bebe Bluff is 79lbs of cinnamon roll. She's as mushy as can be, and has THE most precious face. Her muzzle is just slightly grayed, the frosting on the perfect roll. Bebe LOVES toys, and waits so patiently for me to throw them for her. She does this while looking up at me with a relaxed, beaming "smile", and unfortunately for her I take extra seconds to admire it before throwing her ball. She doesn't seem to mind, but maintains her focus and slowly makes a pile of her toys in the yard and stands by them proudly when she takes a break from playing. Bebe was found with another dog after their guardian passed away. It appears the dogs have some conflicts with one another, and would do best placed separately. Meet this cute and sweet as can be at Brooklyn ACC.

My ideal home:

Bebe Bluff would do best as a single pet in a home without young children.

Good with other pets?

Bebe Bluff would do best in a home without other pets.

Good with children?

Based on observations at the shelter, we believe Bebe Bluff would do best in a home with older children.

How are my leash manners?

Bebe Bluff pulls moderately on leash and would benefit from basic leash manners and polite walking training.

What is my behavior assessment?

During her assessment, Bebe Bluff was revealed to be a friendly, social dog who pulls moderately on leash.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!
