My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pet needs emergency placement. Please click here to go to our emergency placement page for more information.

Jasmine is currently on the at-risk list due to behavior concerns. Jasmine has began to deteriorate in care despite best efforts to keep her comfortable. Jasmine has began to leash bite intensely in her kennel when attempting to bring her out for her walks, she begins to tug intensely and has to be coaxed with a toy in order to be removed from kennel, make it difficult to walk her safely in the care center. Jasmine has also began to kennel fight with neighboring dogs when exiting kennel, but is very social with staff. Medically, Jasmine has a mass and is overweight.

My foster writes:
Meet Jasmine, a delightful 5-year-old bundle of energy and joy! This spirited pup loves to stay active and is always ready for a game of fetch with her favorite red ball. Jasmine's enthusiasm is contagious, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle.
Jasmine has a sweet and friendly nature, especially when meeting new people. Her gentle demeanor and wagging tail make her an instant favorite with everyone she encounters. Whether she's playing in the yard or cuddling up after a day of fun, Jasmine's loving personality shines through.
Jasmine would do best in a home without cats or other dogs, as she prefers to be the center of attention.
If you're looking for a lively and affectionate furry friend who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with love and laughter, Jasmine is the perfect match for you!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I am excitable and energetic! I will need positive outlets for my energy!

I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.

A volunteer writes: Jasmine is an enthusiastic and loving dog who is an absolute pleasure to spend time with. She was a perfect guest on Boroughbreak to my apartment last week. She was eager to explore my apartment, but able to entertain herself with toys while I worked from home. We spent some time in the backyard, where she showed off her fetch and treat-catching skills, as well as her knowledge of "sit" and "paw". We then headed off to the park, where her excellent leash manners were apparent; while she did get excited when she spotted a squirrel, she was friendly to everyone she met and unfazed by bicycles, people, and other dogs. Jasmine has a joy for life that's apparent from her big smile to her ever-wagging tail, and she's going to bring so much love and happiness to her next person or family!
