My name is Zoey!

My foster writes:
Zoey is a sweet and goofy girl! She wants nothing more than to be close to her people, sometimes wanting to be so close that she flings her body onto you. Zoey was nervous when we brought her home but opened up almost immediately, and on her second day with us was already playing and cozying up! Zoey is excellent on the leash and rarely pulls. She's a snuggle bug and would make an excellent addition to your home.

All adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered when appropriate.

My ideal home:
One word that keeps appearing in Zoey's enrichment notes is "wiggly". If you are looking for a companion that is always happy to greet you at the door with a wagging tail and big smile, then Zoey is your girl. She seems to love human interaction and exploring her surroundings on long-walks. At just 5 years of age, Zoey would do well in a home that likes to play, exercise and is all around active.



Good with other pets?

Zoey has shown some aggression towards other dogs while at the care center, so we recommend she be the only pet.



Good with children?

Based on our interactions in the care center we think Zoey would do well with children over 5 years of age.



How is my health?

Our veterinary staff has given Zoey a good bill of health. She will need to be spayed before adoption.



How are my leash manners?

Zoey does well on the leash and has great manners. She will easily sit if rewarded with treats!



What is my behavior assessment?

Zoey has been designated a level 2 dog. She may have some low-intensity behavior challenges or mild triggers but is suitable for most adopters with some dog experience.
