My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes: That little bottom row of crooked teeth gives me cute aggression! East is, I am sure, the result of breeding a small gremlin and a sweet meatball, and then gluing big ears on top. How this adorable face has gone unnoticed is beyond me. When we meet East the first time it's during a huge thunderstorm. He is the perfect rainy day buddy, and doesn't seem to mind one bit. He plays with his toys and is just happy to be out and about. East decides that a storm is the perfect time to check out the swimming pool and hops right in to curiously to bat his toys around.

East's notes from the shelter are filled with words like loose and wiggly, and he has enjoyed playing enrichment games. He was found stray by someone walking their dog, and they reported that he was friendly with both the dog and them when he ran up for help. East has met a dog at the shelter and was loose during the interaction. He's looking for an experienced home and you can meet him at Queens ACC.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!

Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners.

I am excitable and energetic! I will need positive outlets for my energy!
