My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Please check here for updated adoption hours.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

Zeushi's former owner stated that inside the home he is active, playful, and prefers contact on his own terms. He will spend most of his time inside his crate. He allowed his previous owner to brush and bathe him. He allowed his previous owner to trim his nails and touch his paws.

A Volunteer writes: I like big boys and I cannot lie! And Zeushi sure is one of them. Zeushi is 75 pounds of love, light, and chicken nuggets. He is a perfect middle aged boy at 4 years old and has enough playful energy to entertain his new family, but is happy to be a couch potato most of the day. Zeushi came to us when his family was moving out of the country and couldn't take him or his sister. He had lived with 4 adults, 2 children, and another dog (Luna Una #203522) Zeushi tends to be on the shyer side and prefers to keep space from strangers and children. He is comfortable around familiar dogs, but avoids dogs he doesn't know, and cats. He spent most of his previous days lounging in his crate. His special skills include being a good backseat driver, some basic commands, and being incredibly sweet!
