My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"The Ultimate Adventure Buddy!"

Are you ready to add some joy to your life? Meet Dottie, a lively 4.5 month old Australian Cattle Dog/Aussie Shepherd mix. Born to mama Bessie on June 4, 2024, Dottie is one of the "7 Cowgirl Puppies." DNA testing on her sister confirms their primary breeds as Australian Cattle Dog and Australian Shepherd, with mom's small stature and presumed Aussie Shepherd mix dad suggesting Dottie will grow into a medium-sized dog.

This little circus dog delights with impressive vertical leaps off deck steps, enthusiastic toy-chasing, and potential fetch mastery (without her sister trying to steal the ball from her ). With her confident and curious nature, Dottie thrives on interaction and play. She will need an active family or individual eager to train a smart and energetic dog, who will need consistent exercise and mental stimulation. She's already showing signs of intelligence and trainability, responding well to positive reinforcement.

She is medically up to date (not yet spayed), crate trained, and working on perfecting housebreaking.

Apply to meet this sweet girl today and get ready for a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and unconditional love.

We match our dogs to the best applicant for each dog! We process applications, preform a home visit, either in person or a video call. We want to ensure both our rescue dogs, and adopters are set up for success and are happy!

More about this rescue

Paws Rescue League Inc. Rescues the dogs that need saving. We believe ALL dogs deserve love, happiness, and a family. We don't just take in the puppies, or the young fully vetted dogs who are quick to adopt. We take dogs of all ages, all sizes, all breeds and we do our best to find the best family that matches their needs. We work with our adopters to make sure they are supported, and the process is as stress free as possible. We are a 501(c)(3) non profit rescue, that is run by volunteers.

Currently we are NOT adopting to residents of MASSACHUSETTS OR MAINE. We will update our website when we are able to serve those areas. Thank you!
