COURTESY POST-Salida, CO - Quinn is a 3-year-old Mini-Aust. Shepherd /Border Collie blend. She is Spayed and weighs about 35Lb.s. She is white with black ears and spots.

Quinn is high energy and knows basic commands. He is controllable on and off- leash, she likes hikes and will respond with whistle & voice. She is extremely agile, very intelligent and learns quickly.

She is very affectionate, housebroken and likes sleeping in her kennel. She's polite with people at mealtimes and is very focused on her people. She is dog selective and seems to feel more secure in quiet places. Quinn aims to please. If you are interested in giving her a furever home, please contact her owner,

Nancy Gonzalez, founder and CEO, created Australian Shepherds Furever (ASF), a non-profit organization to promote the educated adoption and rescue of the Australian Shepherd (Aussie) dog breed.

In July of 2012, ASF initiated as a Facebook page hoping to have 1,000 user "likes" by the end one year. The page quickly outgrew expectations, now with a network of nearly 72,000 individuals striving to provide aid and refuge to Aussies all over the country.

Using the Facebook page as a platform, the website www.australianshepherdsfurever.org was developed as an additional resource aimed at educating the public on this intelligent and beautiful breed. It provides resources for those seeking help, or those willing to contribute to the Adopt, Save, Foster (ASF) philosophy. Through this philosophy, ASF has saved the lives of countless dogs and helped to provide assistance to those that have nowhere else to turn.

We as humans have a responsibility to speak up and take action in favor of those beings that are less fortunate. Thanks to a team of passionate and proactive volunteers, Aussies nationwide are given a chance at a better life through Australian Shepherds Furever.
