Henny is a young pit mix who’s always ready to go and loves to carry around her tennis ball to show off to her humans. Although she has lots of energy to play with her older foster siblings (male and female), she loves people a bit more than dogs. After a long play or walk, she enjoys a good snuggle with you on the couch. She would enjoy a home with another medium or large size male dog, but would be content living as the queen bee with an active family who will give her the attention she craves.
Henny is a very active dog, wants to please people, and needs a firm leader who will continue to teach her manners and ensure healthy boundaries. She loves to take walks, sniff out sticks to chew on later, and is well behaved both on and off leash.
She is potty trained, crate trained, and very food motivated. She sits patiently for just the chance for a morsel of food. Due to her high energy, we recommend kids 12+ and a calmer home that will help her flourish into a wonderful family pet as she matures.
Henny is in foster in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *
