My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Smith-Kinley transport came to us from Niagara Falls!  Joyful Rescues feels strongly that, because of the drastic dog overpopulation problem that resulted due to human behavior during the pandemic, that we  must do the responsible thing and focus our efforts in our own western NY region.  The population problem has also created an environment ripe for increased animal hoarding when good hearted humans take on more than they have the resources to care for them which is the case for the 9 dogs and 3 cats that arrived here in pretty rough shape.  A few of the dogs have no teeth and the others will need a dental, which we will do for them, and with this much neglect they will likely need a second dental in the near future so we want to be sure, if you choose to open your home to one of them, that you will be prepared for this cost.  Everyone's nails were overgrown, and the longer haired ones were terribly matted and even had some twigs embedded in the mats.  Any donations toward their care would surely be appreciated.  Some of them are a bit shy at first, but they've been through a lot and we feel given a bit of time they will be the loves of your life!

Rosie was born around July 29, 2022, and weighs about 13 pounds but we expect her to top out in the 20+ pound range.  Rosie and her sisters came to us on the slim side and based on the breed and size of their paws we would guess each of them will eventually be in the 20+ pound range.  We received zero information on these kitties and are going on appearance and best guesses when it comes to ages and ultimate weights so please keep that in mind.  These girls will take your breath away when you see them they are simply magnificent with giant faces and paws and their coats! My goodness, their fur is going to be incrediblee with regular brushing and proper care!  They are shy at first but we can not blame them considering the conditions they were living in.  They will need time in their new homes to adjust but once they do you they are ultimately sweet.   These kitties have lived with other cats and dogs and are fine with both.  We can not imagine human children being an issue but maybe not tiny children just to be on the safe side.  These amazing beauty's should have no problems finding homes very quickly
A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
The ADOPTION FEE for this feline is:$400.00  We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
