Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Don’t let her age fool you, this little lady has plenty of years left. Ginger is a sweet girl looking for a soft bed and warm snuggles. She ended up in foster care through no fault of her own when her caretaker fell ill. She was well cared for and loved very much. She is a fan of ear scratches and belly rubs. She plays in short spurts with her doggie friends but mostly enjoys napping and snacking! If you are looking for a chill companion to spend your days with Ginger is your girl!
She does well with dogs, kids, adults, and even those pesky cats! She can blend with a family/person with pets or be just fine as an only dog. She is potty trained and will paw at the door to tell you she needs to go. She is crate-trained but it isn’t her favorite. She tolerates it and goes to sleep, however, she is excited to be let out with her people when they return.
Please find it in your heart to adopt a senior who still has "pep-in-her-step" and will make a wonderful, calm companion for some family.
She is highly food motivated, so as with many dogs, you won’t want to leave any “no-no” food where she can get it. She isn’t a picky eater and has acclimated to her foster’s food quickly. Her adoption fee covers her recent standard vet care. Microchipped and rabies vaccinated. She is healthy, spayed, has all of her shots, heartworm negative, and is on monthly prevention.
