As the puppies dwindled in number due to the dangers of the wild, a group of rescuers stepped in to save Yorda, her mom, and her two remaining siblings.
While her siblings were successfully adopted in the Washington area, Yorda was given a chance for adoption in Guadalajara. Unfortunately, after a year, her initial family decided they no longer wanted her. Thankfully, her dedicated rescuer took her back, giving Yorda another chance to find her forever home in the Seattle area where she truly belongs.
