Teddy is the biggest teddy bear there is. He was found as a stray and no shelter would take him in. His foster family committed to finding Teddy a home and offered to foster him as long as it took for him to be adopted. Here’s what we know about Teddy Bear:

- Roughly 6 years old
- Sweet as can be! Loves cuddling with his humans. Nap time is his favorite
- Neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, recently got a dental cleaning, UTD on heartworm & flea/tick prevention
- Great with children! His best friend is an 8 month old human
- No aggression toward other dogs or cats
- Does great for car rides
- He loves his stuffy toys!

We have monthly adoption events at Lume in Petersburg and Tractor Supply in Dundee, MI.

More about this shelter

We are a family run rescue that we have established on our property. We pull from local animal control and shelters, as well as owner surrenders and high risk shelters. At Hard Licker Ranch we operate in small packs so that we can socialize the dogs as well as to understand the most about their personalities. We have 2 barns that are temperature controlled, and the dogs have 24 hour access to come in and out through weathered doggy doors. We do it to make life better for every dog that comes into our care and give them a second chance. We also do community outreach and TNR. Our rescue is also a Sanctuary for barn cats who need a home!
