My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Timmy is the most handsomest boy in the world, wouldn't you agree?? He's approximately 5 years old and was a former Tom Cat until he was rescued from the streets by a Good Samaritan. He gets along really well with the other cats and dogs in his foster household. He is super easy going and laid back and loves just sitting around watching the world around him. So he's very low maintenance! We think he's just happy to finally have a safe place to lay his head since he was living a life of a stray cat. He gets a little nervous at first around people he doesn't know so it will take a little while to adjust to a new home, but we have confidence that after a few yummy meals he will quickly turn into your new best friend! Timmy is FIV+ so an experienced adopter will need to keep that diagnosis in mind but he is doing really well and is healthy as a horse outside of that. Timmy is just a big, lovable boy that wants to be safe the rest of his life and have a family to love! If you are interested in adopting Timmy he would love for you to fill out an application!

Submit Application

You may complete an application via our website at http://www.humanetomorrow.org/adopt/.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
