Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ridgeline came to CVHS when a multiple dog household was too much for the owners to manage.
Ridgeline is LOVING having toys to play with, and adorably gets zoomies around our fenced yards.
Ridgeline is familiar with access to a fenced yard, and he would be happiest with a fenced-in yard he can hang out in, poking around sniffing, playing with toys, running freely, and quietly hanging out. Ridgeline walks nicely on a harness and leash, so a yard is not essential for him to be happy.
Ridgeline sleeps happily in a crate at night, and should be crated when left home alone. In his previous home, he lived with many other large dogs in a small house, and there were occasional scuffles that were probably the result of living in a confined space. While here, he has met other dogs, and is friendly and wiggly, and plays well. We feel that he`d be fine living with another dog with similar energy levels, and would enjoy having dog friends to visit and play with. He LOVES everyone he has met here, and is a favorite of staff and volunteers. He did well with children of all ages in his previous home. He has not met any cats.
A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Ridgeline’s $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Ridgeline.
