My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cannonball, a six year old Pitty/Boxer mix who is ready to make a splash into your life.

Cannonball is a loving and affectionate Pitbull who thrives on companionship. He's a snuggle enthusiast who adores curling up next to you for cozy cuddles. His gentle and friendly nature makes him a wonderful companion for relaxing at home or enjoying a quiet evening. Cannonball is a fantastic walker on a leash. Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the park or a brisk walk around the neighborhood, he's well-behaved and enjoys his outdoor adventures.

Cannonball would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention and where snuggling is a daily activity. Cannonball would be a great fit for a family or individual looking for a loyal and loving companion. He would especially enjoy if this home didn't have any other dogs that were young and playful, Cannonball can be a little grouchy to new dogs (especially the youthful ones that get up in his face). If you do have another dog a meet and greet is required to make sure Cannonball will approve of his new roomie! With his affectionate nature and excellent leash manners, Cannonball is ready to bring joy and warmth to your life. He's looking for a loving home where he can share his snuggles and enjoy walks with his new family.

If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week!

A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Before you go searching for free puppies or puppies for sale, check your local Shelters for available dogs and puppies that have been vetted and are ready to go home. Adopt Don't Shop.
