Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This sweet, curious little kitten came to AFRP fairly recently with her brother, Thor, from Hitchcock Road Animal Services. Now, they're both ready to find their furever homes!
Magnolia (Maggie) is the quite the adorable kitty and her foster says she brings joy and warmth to any home. With her sweet, calm, and playful nature, Maggie is a gem to be around. Her big, beautiful eyes and soft fur make her an irresistible cuddle buddy. Maggie loves the company of her brother and can often be found snuggling up with him or following him around. One of Maggie's favorite things is being petted; she'll purr contentedly and melt into your hands. However, she's a bit shy and is still learning how to be confident kitten! Thankfully, her curiosity and affection bring her out of hiding fairly quickly and she's even beginning her harness-training journey!
Magnolia would do best in a home with adult adopters or with patient, cat-savvy children over the age of six due to her more shy nature upon initial meeting. She's just starting to meet other cats and dogs, so her new family should be gentle and understanding as she navigates these new experiences, she would love to find a home with her brother.
Magnolia is currently at our adoptions location inside Pet Food Express at the Crossroads in Carmel. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our online dog application.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.
All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
