My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*BONDED WITH HER SON*
**AVAILABLE TO MEET IN THEIR FOSTER HOME IN AVONDALE, CHICAGO**
Natasha FKA Shedd AKA Mama (and her son, Baby Boris FKA Ray) arrived at Chicago Animal Care and Control as strays on June 15th. They were both very thin and covered in fleas and baby was noted to have a heart murmur. These two sensitive souls were very scared at the shelter and spent most of their time huddled together in a box. So we stepped in to provide more medical diagnostics and care and to give them a chance to decompress in a foster home. We've never seen such bonded kitties before. They eat, sleep, play, and bird-watch together - almost non-stop. They've been working on their social skills and have made friends with a big dog and two human kids. Baby Boris has been diagnosed with mild pulmonary stenosis, but no meds are needed at this time and he may grow out of it as kittens often do. If you want to add beautiful, positive, big-love and playful vibes to your space, you definitely need to adopt this mama and son sweetheart pair. Natasha is spayed, up to date on FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, FIV and FeLV negative. Submit an adoption application or email Cats@heartlandanimalshelter.org to set up a time to meet them!
