*BONDED WITH HIS MAMA*
**AVAILABLE TO MEET IN THEIR FOSTER HOME IN AVONDALE, CHICAGO**
Ray AKA Baby Boris (and his mom, Shedd AKA Natasha) arrived at Chicago Animal Care and Control, as strays on June 15th. They were both very thin and covered in fleas and they discovered that Ray also had a pretty serious heart murmur, so they needed a rescue group to take them to provide more medical diagnostics and care, so we transferred them straight to a foster home. We don't know what happened to Ray's other siblings, but we do know that he and his mama are very bonded and do everything together. They've also been working on their social skills and have made friends with a big dog and two human kids. Recently we had a specialist in to examine Ray and he has been diagnosed with mild pulmonary stenosis. We recommend checking again in 6 months, but no meds are needed at this time, and we hope that he'll grow out of this condition as kittens often do. If you want to add beautiful positive big love and playful vibes to your space, you definitely need to adopt these two sweethearts.
Ray is neutered, up to date on FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, FIV and FeLV negative. Submit an adoption application or email Cats@heartlandanimalshelter.org to set up a time to meet them!
