Birch IS IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, THE ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES THE TRANSPORT AND INTERSTATE HEALTH CERT.

This little boy is a part of a litter of 4 pups,
we believe that they were born approx march 1 st 2024
he is very active and loves to run and play with his siblings
he is a typical puppy and will need leash/harness and house training
he weighs 15 lbs and we believe he will be in the 20 to 25 lb range when fully grown, he has a sweet personality, we have no idea of his breed mix, he has the prettiest golden coat..
we only adopt to experienced dog owners and no children under the age of 10 years

The total adoption fee of $400 ( also includes ,spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at

We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.
