RIDGECREST NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Approximate Weight: 51 lbs

Ridgecrest is Looking For: His forever family. This sweetie arrived in the shelter severely underweight at 31 pounds but he's sweet as can be, has closed that chapter, and is ready for his new one. The one where he gets his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures they can dream up. He hasn't seen nearly enough of the world and is very much looking forward to exploring it.

Quality kibble (definitely) and a cushy dog bed are also on his wish list but what he wants most of all is to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof for all his days. In exchange, he offers all the loyal companionship, adoring gazes, and tail wags any human could ever want. What do you say? Is he the one for you?

What My Foster Says About Me:  Ridgecrest is great! He is super sweet and did well with my dog. He did great walking on the leash even though he got very happy to see other dogs on his walks! After a day of warming up, he has been super well mannered (not jumping, great crate and leash manners, zero accidents thus far, etc)! He can be a little nervous, but with a little patience he will learn that he is safe now and make the best addition to your family!

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Go meet their pets

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
