My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fender Bender! The world’s cutest and sweetest tabby kitten!

Why is his name Fender Bender you ask? His rescuer risked everything to rescue him and got into a “fender bender” during the rescue! Hence the name.

Fender is a thoughtful smart kitten with lots of love to give. We call him “Mr. Photogenic”. Just take a look those pictures and you will know why. The near perrrrfect symmetry of markings and stripes, that smoldering gaze and big beautiful eyes. Need I say more!

When he’s not running around playing with his brother or scrunchy toy, he likes to lounge in the window pondering life and purring himself to sleep.

You will love his super soft fur and want to pet him all of the time! You won’t believe how sweet this little guy is! Fender was born on 4/6/2024, he is a very healthy kitten, ready for his loving forever home. Could it be you?

Fender is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
