My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

London is a beautiful young medium hair cat with the best fluffy tail. She has the sweetest disposition and loves to play as well. She is very friendly with other cats and seems to really enjoy having cat companions to hang out with and play with. She likes to talk when you first get home, she truly loves belly rubs, and she appreciates spending quiet time with you. London loves people, other cats, and wet food.

London would do best in a home with older kids and other cat friends. She can be adopted alone or with her good friend Furgison.

London was found as a stray in September 2023 at a golf course. She approached some golfers crying for food and she came into the care of CVRR. She was posted as found but never claimed. Once into CVRR, London was spayed and received all her vet care. Her estimated date of birth is April 2023.

London was adopted in November 2023 by a guy who already had one cat, Furgison. Furgison and London became friends very quickly. Unfortunately living circumstances changed in July 2024 and so London and Furgison both came into CVRR foster care at that time. London and Furgison get along great with the resident cats in their foster home.

London's adoption fee is $75. Many cats do so much better in pairs, which is why we offer a reduced adoption fee of $25 for the second cat (or more!).

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/.

The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care.

Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy.

We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter.

CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract.

CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it.
