Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TARGET is big fun in a tiny tabby package. He's a playful 3 month old boy with plenty of silly kitten energy. He's an itty bitty fellow, around 2 pounds, and will probably be a medium-sized boy when fully grown. Kittens thrive in the companionship of other felines. Target must go to a home with another friendly cat. If you don't already have a cat we can match him with another compatible kitten to fill your home with fun. If you'd like to meet Target, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. You can meet Target at our weekly adoption event Saturday noon-3 at PetSmart Eastgate if he's still available.

Our cats are fully vetted and require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. We will not send cats to homes where they will be declawed, a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cat adoption fee covers the cost of the cat's spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, combo testing, deworming, microchip and any other needed care. Our adoptable adult dogs go to prospective homes for a one week foster-to-adopt trial period.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Upon completion of foster-to-adopt period, balance of adoption fee is paid, contract is signed and adoption is completed.

DOGS

We have two ways to adopt a dog:

1) Foster to adopt. You are permitted to take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week at your home. We can loan you a wire crate for the trial period. This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then the following weekend you can finalize the adoption at one of our adoption events. If no, then you return the dog to us at one of our adoption events and you are welcome to try a different dog. You will need to complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit. The deposit will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption.

2) Outright Adoption. If you're sure you've found the right dog, you complete the necessary paperwork, pay the adoption fee in full (cash, check, or credit card only) and take the dog home. You receive all the dogs health records that we have available to us.

Our dog adoption fee is $225 for adult dogs, $300 for puppies. Fee INCLUDES: the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.

Sweet Dream House Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, no kill, all volunteer, all breed animal rescue. We utilize a network of foster homes to house our adoptable dogs and cats.

Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, to spay/neuter, vaccinate and provide any needed medical care until they are adopted into loving homes. We are often the rescue of last resort, waiting until other rescues select from the euthanasia lists to rescue those that are not selected.
