Microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, DOB: June 22, 2017
I am a brave and adventurous explorer, afraid of nothing and out to conquer the .... Oh, who am I kidding, I'm really kind of a scaredy cat. I think that's why my foster humans called me Oliver, because I looked rather mournful staring out with my big eyes like Oliver Twist. I am a sweet tempered, quiet gentleman--well, ok, got me there, too, as I do sometimes meowch when I want attention or am hungry but I will do this less and less as I become comfortable with my new humans.
I'm not a big toy playing guy but I love being brushed and petted. I also like to sit with my humans. I'm still a bit uncertain about doing the lap thing but I do enjoy sitting close beside someone, especially in the evenings. Most of the days, though, I'm quite content to find a quiet spot somewhere in the house where I won't be too disturbed and just nap.
I’ve been a very good boy in foster care, eating my food and showing off my excellent litter box habits.
Special note from my foster family: It's funny that Oliver did meowch a fair bit in the first days we had him but after that, hardly at all and then usually only a couple of chirps when he wants attention or is hungry. We think he was just expressing a little anxiety in the early days and is now rather quiet since he's become settled in his foster home. He can be quite defensive around other cats, especially young or aggressive ones. He's a lovely little boy who would really do best as the only cat in a calm home.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old).
This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
