Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This handsome orange boy is a gentle soul with a heart full of love despite a challenging past. Popeye is a sweet, resilient cat who is looking for a special home where patience and kindness are in abundance. He's had his fair share of struggles, but he's come through with a remarkably warm and affectionate nature.
Popeye is a bit of a sun-worshipper-he'll happily stretch out and soak up the rays in any sunlit spot he can find. When he's not basking in the sunlight, you'll find him eagerly following you on leisurely walks, his curious eyes taking in every new scent and sound. He's also a big fan of cuddles, always ready to curl up next to you and purr contentedly. He will also crawl into your lap and lie there for as long as he can.
Popeye is an exceptionally good boy. For instance, his foster reports that he is remarkably good about taking his medications for his eye ulcer and hyperthyroidism, a testament to his trusting and cooperative nature. He'll gently remind you when it's time for his next meal, ensuring he never misses out on his favorite blended soft food. While it's unknown how he'd do with kids or cats, Popeye has shown no fear approaching or lying near his foster's resident dog.
This affectionate cat needs a home where he can feel secure and loved, and where his gentle spirit can truly shine. If you have the patience and kindness to offer Popeye, you'll be rewarded with a loyal companion who brings warmth and joy to your life.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
