Chess is a ball of furry energy! This happy, affectionate dog is playful and loves to goof around with his toys. He gets along well with other dogs, both one-on-one and in groups.

Fully housebroken and sleeps soundly in his kennel at night.
A smart pup who already knows his basic commands.

Our volunteers have made a commitment to ensure that the animals we place will be in their new home for life.

Once an application is submitted, a volunteer will work with you to set up a time to meet the puppies that interest you.

Please plan on meeting the animal you are interested in adopting. Although the pictures and descriptions may show the "perfect" pet for you - nothing replaces an actual meeting!! You can NOT place an animal on hold. This is unfair to both the animal and other potential adopters.

We work very closely with rescues in southern states to find new homes for dogs and puppies who deserve a family despite their state of origin.

Most of the puppies in our care come from over-crowded shelters in states with extreme over population and high kill rates. Our main goal is to place orphaned and unwanted animals into loving permanent homes.
