**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!**
Name: Latte
Breed: Australian Shepherd, German Shepherd, and Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Sex/Age/Weight: Male, DOB 04/16/24, 20-25 pounds
Vetting: Neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention
House trained/Crate Trained: Latte has started on house training. He’s not 100% yet, but he’s doing good. He’s also had some crate training.
Dogs/Cats/Children: Latte hasn’t been exposed to cats or children yet. But he’s great with other dogs and people.
Energy Level: Medium – He loves running and playing, inside and out. But he’s also a snuggle bug who loves spending time with his people or even better, in their laps.
Before FAR/My History: Latte and his littermates were born a few days after their mom arrived at the shelter. Two days later they moved to their current foster home.
Training Status/Commands I know: He’s good with come and sit (especially with the enticement of a treat).
Things I like: Latte is a typical happy, social pup. He loves running, playing and chilling with his family (people, puppies and dogs).
Things I don’t like: Not much! Perhaps just a typical puppy fear of sudden, loud noises.
Things that make my humans happy: Latte is so darn cute! And he loves sharing kisses and cuddling with his people.
Ideal Family/Home: Latte will do best in a furever home without young children or submissive dogs. He will need an adopter who is committed to training him and working with him on a daily basis. Latte has displayed some instances of resource guarding, so he needs an experienced, dog-savvy human who will will give him clear and consistent boundaries regarding feeding and toys.
Special Notes: Four of Latte’s littermates have already been adopted – it’s his and Cappuccino’s turns now!

Our adoption process starts with the potential adopter filling out an adoption application. In the application, you can specify a particular dog in which you are interested, or let us know what type of pet in which you are looking, so we can find the perfect animal to fit your family and your needs. Once the application is received, a board member will review the application, and make contact with the potential adopter within 48 hours. This initial contact may include further questions/more information, or may include scheduling a meet and greet for you to meet the animal in which you are interested! Once the application is approved or the meet and greet goes well, then the adoption can be finalized. To finalize the adoption, an adoption agreement must be completed, the adoption fee paid (we accept cash, paypal, or credit/debit card), and then the potential adopter can take their new family member home with them or schedule pick up of their furry family member! The adoption fee varies based on the animal. Some of our animals have the fees listed in their individual post but if you do not see one then please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to let you know the cost to adopt a particular pet. If you are interested in any of our animals, please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have!!

More about this rescue
Furever After Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a no-kill, foster-based rescue devoted to finding homes for animals needing a loving home. Most of our animals come from local, high-kill shelters with some occasionally coming from bad situations and owner surrender. Our animals are immediately placed in foster homes where they learn love and are taught how to live in a home environment. All of our animals are up-to-date on their age-appropriate vetting needs and are tested for personality traits as best as possible. We have many wonderful pets looking for forever homes!
We are currently based out of Macon, GA but partner with a quality private transport group that helps us get our furbabies to homes up and down the east coast so don't let distance deter you from contacting us about one of our furry friends!
