Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Ben was born April 4, 2024 as part of the Pickleball litter. He was brought into the rescue as a bottle baby with his siblings Tyson, Collin and Vivian at just a couple days old. All 4 of these siblings love humans as a result of their bottle feeding bonds.
Ben has a very unique and charming obsession with feet!! Yep that's right, I said feet. Watch out because he will playfully pounce on your toes or lick them to get your attention. He finds endless fascination and comfort with human feet..lol!
Despite his playful antics, Ben has a deeply affectionate side. He loves to lay around snuggling and napping with you while you watch tv or read. Which makes him a perfect companion for those quiet moments in life.
Whether Ben is chasing after a toy or curling up for a cuddle, his vibrant personality and loving heart would make him an unforgettable new member of your family!!
Ben is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
