My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lorelai, a cat with a heart as warm as her personality. She`s an adult feline who has a sweet, shy, and friendly disposition. Her world revolves around soft whispers of affection, gentle strokes, and the comforting presence of a human companion. Lorelai`s shyness is just a veil hiding her affectionate nature. Once she feels safe, she unveils her friendly side, reciprocating love with soft purrs and gentle nudges. Her sweetness is a balm, soothing away daily stress. Lorelai, with her unique blend of sweetness and friendliness, is ready to fill your home with warmth and love. She`s not just a pet, she`s a companion, a friend, a family member. Adopt Lorelai and let her sweetness light up your life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
