Meet Hexxus, a kitten with a heart full of sweetness and a spirit brimming with curiosity.
He may be shy at first, but once he warms up, he's the epitome of friendliness. His purrs are quick to come, especially when treats are involved. He has the softest and fluffiest fur!
Hexxus thrives in a calm environment and would greatly benefit from a confident companion who can help him navigate his shyness. Kids might overwhelm him, so a home without little ones would be ideal.
His gentle nature and curious demeanor make him a wonderful companion. In his current foster home he has shown interest in his dog foster friend.
Adopt Hexxus and let his sweet, friendly, and curious nature brighten your life.
Hexxus is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
